Gianni Anthony Greco asked:

Call of Duty returns to the PS3 and revisits the experience provided by its predorcessors by going back to World War II. While original series creators Infinity Ward brought the series into the modern day, developer Treyarch are setting out to make Call Of Duty World At War on the PS3 the definitive historical first-person shooter.

Call Of Duty World At War on the PS3 is primarily set in the Pacific theatre and has a much more realistic, violent tone requiring less-linear game play than previous Call of Duty games. You’ll struggle to survive Japanese attacks without mastering new gaming skills, like swimming or how to use a flamethrower–a weapon that packs some punch in the fully destructable game world.

Also featured on Call Of Duty World At War is a campaign on the Eastern front, where you take control of a soldier in the Soviet Red Army during the attack on Berlin in the closing stages of the war. The game also includes the series’ first co-op mode, while the competitive multiplayer mode aims to build upon the achievements of Call of Duty 3 and add to the game’s longevity on the Playstation 3.

Key features of the game

Dual campaigns: Fight in two very different World War II battles. Take on the Japanese Imperial army in the Pacific, and liberate Berlin as part of the Soviet Red Army.

Grim realities: Experience the most bloody and realistic combat ever seen in the series, as you witness enemy atrocities and wield horrific new weapons such as the flamethrower.

Job with benefits: Revamped competitive multiplayer mode features useable vehicles and an expanded perks system from Call of Duty 4.

Brothers in arms: For the first time, a Call of Duty game features a four-player co-operative mode that’s playable online or via a split screen option on the same console.

Modern graphics: The game uses an enhanced version of the Call of Duty 4 graphics engine, with wood that splinters realistically when shot and fires that spread organically.

Games are loved by everyone. When we feel low in our life, we tend to play the game. It can be of any type ranging from outdoor games to indoor games. These days, indoor games are getting popularity due to many reasons. One of the strong reasons is that people are not getting enough time to play an outdoor game. So, they prefer to stick to an indoor game. Video game played on computer is very popular among kids and teenagers. However, adults too seem interested in the newly developed high technology games. The graphics, sound quality and other features are luring them.

A fighting game is a popular video game. In a fighting game, players get the opportunity to face off against each other or against computer-controlled characters in a very interesting format. The main difference between this mode and the other one is that players are of almost equal power to their opponents. Battles are basically self-contained matches involving a small number of characters. It can be two to four players playing against each other.

Action and adventure games belong to that quality of games which involve unusual games like wrestling, fighting, star wars, fictional adventures, space travel and situational kind of games. Often these come with an extremely good story line and full of rich graphics and animation effects. Battle games are so adventurous that you begin feeling as if you yourself are fighting and thrashing the enemies coming in your way. The game making companies are coming with new kind of technologies such as 2D fighting games and 3D fighting games. Some of the best fighting games are Nintendo, Xbox and GTA. You get the devastating weapons and ammunition in the process so that it would be easy to thrash the computer generated enemies. These come in the way to stop you from getting triumph. Many other options are given so that you can enjoy more while playing these adventurous experiences.

You can also download fighting games with the help of various sites that provide the fighting games for PC. It also offers you an opportunity to compare prices of different brands and select the best deal for you. Different formats of the best fighting games

video game review
Don’t you feel skeptical when you visit their website and listen to the Gamer Testing Ground site claims that you can earn up to $150 an hour testing games? I was skeptical before when I found out the website the first time and couldn’t believe it, my friend couldn’t believe it also because it sound too good to be true. But I just go ahead and give it try, I tried it because I was curious to find out the result. I must admit that it is a great job to have. The best thing is there are a few game testers out there than there is demand for them, so the salary for the job is quite good. Let’s discover more about Gamer Testing Ground in this article.

Why would video game companies want to hire video game testers?

Gamer Testing Ground provides all the sources that are link up to gaming companies that are looking for people to take their time to try and test new games before they release the game to the public. I personally know some engineers and game programmers in game companies, believe me, they want to hire more game testers like us to help with game testing. The reason these companies are hiring us because they are not going to play their own games, they would rather spend their time on tweaking and correcting their own games, while they need outsiders to ensure that their games would contain no bug and error. Companies are willing to pay you for testing their games.

How much can you earn from testing video games?

It would depend on how much the companies would agree to pay you. But first, you should love and enjoy playing video games and willing to spend 6 hours a day sitting in front of your television playing video game, otherwise it would be a real chore for you. It does pay very well up to $150 per hour, and the reason they are paying a lot for this kind of work because not many has the skill for the job . Not every game lover are willing to spend their entire day playing video games, they would rather spending their time on something else.

The reason I am a game tester is because of the good pay-rate. It has actually given me a nice steady stream of income and no longer has to work in an office with uniform on. Another positive thing is that it allows me to work flexibility at home and make money at the same time. There are many games being released every months there is no ending for me to earn money staying at home playing video game and it ensure my income never stops.

Let me show you how to successfully become a game tester.

Karl Bantleman asked:

Games consoles sell extremely well when Christmas comes and many of us have one at the top of our list. People’s preferences differ and the one you choose will depend on varying factors.

Price

Due to the economic environment, price will undoubtedly be an important factor. The Xbox 360 wins this one hands down with a console prices starting at £129.99, however a Playstation 3 console costs over double the price at £299.99. So why is there such a big price difference? Let’s compare the 2 and find out.

Internet facilities

Both have internet capabilities but the PS3 has an in-built wireless connectivity so there is no need to buy any extra wires or hardware. The Xbox 360 needs Ethernet cables to connect to the internet with a wireless adapter available for an extra £55.

Downloading games and films

The PS3 has an online store that is largely restricted to games but it also saves the customer the hassle of having to go out and buy it. Its Blu-Ray capabilities also give it a competitive edge over the Xbox 360 which can only play standard DVD’s and CD’s. The 360 does though, have a better range of films available as they have an agreement with Warner and Paramount that permit them to have a small library of films available. The films you download stay on your system for 7 days but once you have started to watch it you have 24 hours to finish the programme or film.

Added extras

PS3 users can install a special version of Linux, which effectively turns their console into a PC; this has been greeted warmly by the more technologically minded user. Sony are also set to release their new project, called PlayTV which will allows all customers to watch all free to air TV programmes. Microsoft’s selling points are their deals with film studios and a potential deal with BBC about future programmes being made available to download via the Xbox 360.

To summarise, a Playstation 3 maybe more expensive but when you consider the necessary add-ons needed for the Xbox the price is not much different. An Xbox console costs £129.99 but that is without a hard drive, you must spend about £200 for one with a sufficient enough hard drive to save your games. Both are great games consoles so consider your options before buying.

The Wii has been the biggest success and offers a different experience but consoles such as the Nintendo DS and PS3 are also fantastic.
