Since Wrath of the Lich King was launched in 2008 and the Death Knight first joined the pantheon of WoW classes, there has been a lot of discussion about how this class performs in player vs environment or PvE. The frequent buffing and nerfing of the class mechanics have made it challenging for anyone to figure out exactly what spec, what role, and what actions are best for a respectable Death Knight. So, a good Death Knight PvE guide is definitely helpful in helping get through the content.

PvE Guides for a Death Knight Should Have…

The first question any good Death Knight needs to ask themselves is what type of role they want to play in raiding. There are so many options out there within just this one class that it can be confusing at times deciding how to play it. A good Death Knight PvE Guide will show you how to perform all of the possible roles in a raid – including tanking, support and DPS. With that kind of knowledge in hand, it will be much easier to master the class when it comes time to play in a real raiding situation.

The Content of a Good Death Knight PvE Guide

What exactly will or should you learn from a quality Death Knight PvE guide? To begin with, it should tell you exactly what you’re going to get into. Starting with a complete rundown of what a Death Knight should be expecting in combat. The class is essentially a hybrid class mixing heavily between casting and melee combat. anyone thinking about melee or the mechanics of casting needs to backup and realize this is going to include a different strategy.

Instead, they’re going to need to work on building a strategy that focuses intently on disease rotations and maintaining their DPS or their threat level depending on what position they play. As a Death Knight tank, you must now put out a great deal of threat, accomplished with your diseases, you must also be quite adapt at healing yourself with talents like Lichborne. Without the ability to draw health from those diseases and your damage output (done in the Frost and Unholy specs), you will by no means be able to stay alive because of your lacking a shield and high defense.

As a result, a good Death Knight PvE Guide needs to show you exactly how the mechanics of both DPS and tanking operate and then show you how to spec and integrate those necessary tasks into a well built, effective raiding machine. If it can do that, you’ll be well on your way to successful, high level instance running with your Death Knight.

With Christmas arriving soon, there are a whole lot of kids who are busy putting together a list of what they want. The PlayStation gaming console is very likely to figure at the top on that list. Now if parents aren’t aware of these gaming consoles, it is going to be a pretty difficult task to find a PlayStation 3 that is ideal~. Firstly, there are five PlayStation consoles and every product has been designed for a specific kind of gaming. The Playstation prices that we tell you about here are an approximate figure and kind of an average cost of the console.

Videogaming is one of the best-loved recreational activities of our generation. Wherever you go you come across gamers hooked on one title or the other.  The most fascinating thing about these videogaming gadgets is they hold a wide appeal, as folk of every age take interest in these videogames.  The Sony PSP is one of the latest releases to this arena of gadgets and is a handheld that has a wide range of functions.

Besides being a gaming device, it may also play audio files, movies and even radio. Gamers can also surf the Net with the PSP. But gaming remains its most powerful function and educational PSP games are widely popular in view of their diverse content. They supply entertainment, they are educational and do much to enhance your mental capacities at the same time!

Perhaps the best thing with educational PSP games is that they are portable and handy, so you can keep playing everywhere you travel. The choice in titles is massive and diverse; if you need to boost your mental skills it might be best to go for educational PSP games, eg Word Bubbles.  There are three letter sequences in this game from which you are prompted to create words. Dependent on how long a word you are able to make, you can move up the bubble. Titles such as this will do wonders to boost your cognitive ability and also give you fun and excitement. There are plenty of other games which raise your vocabulary, span of attention and concentration, and will also improve your memory. These games aren’t just limited to kids but have the same appeal even among the elder population.

Also famous amongst educational PSP games is the enormously popular Raindrops. This provides help in improving your skill with maths. It will be perfect for school children who must solve a lot of mathematical problems. In this game an equation appears on a rain drop and you’ve got to solve it before the drop bursts. It will inform you how precise and fast you may be under time restrictions. Educational PSP games are very advantageous when it comes to your processing and logical training.

If customers worry about the cost of these educational PSP games you can always download titles from the Net, though you have to be careful concerning corrupt files and viruses that can ruin your device.

Rush out for your educational PSP games soon and learn while you play!

Obsidian Sanctum is an interesting raid, with lots of options. When you raid here, you have the option to bypass any or all of the three mini-bosses in the instance. The options you take determine the difficulty of the final encounter and the kinds of achievements and loot you can end up with. I know lots of people have had trouble dealing with all the possibilities. That’s why I opted to get some Obsidian Sanctum how to advice.

The Obsidian Sanctum how to advice I got gave me the secret to handling all the different types of encounters. And it’s solid, detailed advice too, not the vague, out of date stuff you usually see.

Would you like me to tell you where I got this great information? The source of my new-found wisdom is the Obsidian Sanctum strategy section of T Dub Sanders PvE Bible.

The PvE Bible’s Obsidian Sanctum how to section is 15 pages long. This is detailed strategy and tactics advice on anything that matters in this raid.

Whatever your goals for this raid, the PvE Bible can help. It tells you everything from what specs your party needs to have, to which accomplishments are available and how to get them, to what loot you can expect from different difficulty levels. Sartharion and the three mini-bosses (not to mention all their annoying mobs), won’t stand a chance.

This guide is stuffed with details. It covers everything from the key attributes and gear your raiders must possess, to the exact tactics you can use to take down each mini-boss and all the mobs quickly and with minimum damage to your party. It’s clear that T Dub has done this raid many times, and honed his approach to perfection.

What most impresses me about the Obsidian Sanctum strategy section of PvE Bible is its efficiency. As you progress to ever more difficult versions of the raid, you never have to unlearn anything you learned for an earlier version of the raid. The step by step approach eliminates the need to learn completely new tactics each time.

Important: If you’re not careful, you can learn some sloppy techniques when running the raid at lower difficulty. T Dub’s approach to each teaches you good habits that may be more than you need for the current raid, but that will be crucial for success in the more difficult ones. Surely you’ll agree that it’s much better to learn strategies that you can use on all levels of the raid than to have to relearn everything each run through?

Do you want your own source of detailed Obsidian Sanctum Strategy advice? In the PvE Bible, you can learn exactly how to dominate the Obsidian Sanctum and every other new raid or instance. CLICK HERE to learn more now! And while you’re there, check out the right side of the page for a free gift, the Extreme Raiding Checklist!

Though all videogame consoles would like to be the entertainment focus of your home, Nintendo’s Wii is marketed towards a more general audience (with which it has been wildly successful) while the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and Sony’s Playstation 3 chase the hard-core action-gaming crowd dominated by male teens and tweens, as reflected by Xbox 360 Accessories like an Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter.  Where hardware is concerned, the Wii is outclassed by both the Xbox and the PS3, but it’s really software that makes a game console successful or not. Thus do Microsoft and Sony’s catalogs appear rather similar, as both are targeting the same market with a similar number of titles offering a similar range of action gameplay.

But big numbers buy bragging rights in action-gaming, and it must also be remembered that, in the final analysis, it’s the hardware that drives the software.  (Though no one boasts of their Xbox 360 Power Supply.)  And so it is that many find the Xbox 360 and the PS3 fairly similar under the hood, regardless of Sony’s much-promoted “emotion engine” said to render facial expressions so realistically as to make for a much more engrossing gaming experience. Nevertheless, both consoles do have their respective shares of near-rabid fanatics who swear that major differences abound between the two. Yet it’s safe to say that very few would turn down a rival console given as a gift!

The only differences, in fact, involve those truly special features unique to each platform, in addition to the online experiences each one offers. And Microsoft presents a noticeably more varied online experience than that by Sony, whose online service is not bad at all. But the Xbox 360 provides a more extensive experience in that department, though the PS3 does try very hard to make up for it with a built-in Blu-ray DVD player, WiFi web surfing, and support for Bluetooth wireless devices. To which it must be added that NetFlix on-demand is available through the Xbox 360, likely neutralizing the PS3’s multimedia advantages. But the PS3 is quite moddable by users with the technical know-how, while Microsoft tries to discourage such hobbyist tinkering under the hood.

Then there’s the issue of costs, with the PS3 selling more than the Xbox 360 due to its slightly greater number of features. Naturally, if you’re a hard-core gamer, prices are probably not going to be all that big a consideration, because purchasing decisions will often be made based on titles exclusive to each platform. Of course, the truly hard-core don’t care about prices at all and would simply buy each of them!

Paladins are a very versatile class. You can fill whatever role is needed in the instance. Thanks to your Blessings, Auras, and Judgments, you can fill a lot of different roles. Not only that, but if your character is specced properly, you can switch from role to role in an instant. This is great, but it can be confusing, and difficult to perform well in each role when you need to. This is why having access to an excellent Paladin PvE Guide comes in handy.

What Can a Top-Notch Paladin PvE Guide Teach You?

Since your character can do so many different things, you often end up with a lot of responsibility during a raid. Depending on the needs of the moment, you may need to be anything from a healer to a tank. A top-notch Paladin PvE Guide must show you how to play each of those roles exceptionally well.

But as a Paladin, you will often be called upon to change roles in the middle of a fight. You could be playing as the primary tank for a small group, when your healing abilities are suddenly needed. Or things could go in some other direction. You can never be sure. So your PvE guide will have to prepare you to switch from role to role on the fly.

To do this well, you’re going to need to be well versed in which spell sets to use for which role. And you’re going to need to be able to mentally switch gears to a new role whenever necessary. This can be difficult. Fortunately, a top-notch PvE Guide will teach you how to do this quickly and efficiently.

To summarize, a quality Paladin PvE Guide shows you how to be the best at each of the roles you may be called on to fill in a raid, along with how to switch between them quickly and efficiently. Pulling this off is tough. You’re going to need all the advice you can get from a quality PvE Guide to get the job done.

Are you ready to elevate your Paladin to the elite among raiders? If so, you’ve found the Paladin PvE Guide you need. Grab your copy of the PvE Bible right now at http://The-PvEBible.com

In January of 2000, board game lovers Scott Alden and Derk Solko created the website www.boardgamegeek.com as a resource for boardgame news, articles, tips, session reports and ratings. The site was an overwhelming success, with 250,000 active members discussing 30,000 different games and regularly contributing to the site. Members can find online board games, games to buy, bulletin board topics of interest and reviews on new or existing games they may not be familiar with. The site is free to join and users who post content can earn “GeekGold,” which is a form of virtual currency that enables them to purchase avatars, badges and other items for their community page.

The site, www.boardgamegeek.com, is a great place for parents to check for their annual “Board Game Gift Guide.” At a glance, parents will see a photo of the game pieces, the price, the number of players, the time it takes to play, the ages and where to buy it. They can also find links to reviews. For Christmas 2008, they recommended Incan Gold, TransAmerica, TransEuropa, The aMAZEing Labyrinth, Hey That’s My Fish, Qwirkle, Blokus and Zooloretto. For party games, they recommended Apples to Apples, Pit, Time’s Up, Wits & Wagers and Balderdash. Some of BGG’s favorite two-player games include Lost Cities, Hive and Memoir 44. The “stocking stuffer” category mentions card board games like No Thanks, Pick Picnic, Circus Flohcati and Loot. Then there’s that ever-hard-to-please teenage demographic. For this discerning audience, try Pandemic, Taluva, The Settlers of Cartan, Cartagena, Ticket To Ride, Carcassonne, Ingenious, Scotland Yard or Heroscape. By contrast, young children might love Go Away Monster, Sorry Sliders, Gulo Gulo, Cranium Cariboo, Cranium Hullabaloo and Make N’ Break.

As with any virtual community, there are ways to connect with like minds on www.boardgamegeek.com. Users can read what others write in the forums. They can peruse “GeekLists” to find users with similar gaming interests. They can add “GeekBuddies” to see their friends’ recent posts, reviews, ratings and comments. Members will receive “GeekGold” awards as they post new content to earn cool avatars and virtual currency for the community. The bottom line is that an online board games community is the best way to get all your gaming questions answered, seek new strategy hints, find new opponents, expand your game collection and flex your own expertise on this subject matter.

Maybe you doubt that you can “win” Mafia Wars. True, there isn’t a ‘winner’ trophy.  I think winning Mafia Wars is possible.  There are 4 goals in Mafia Wars:

  1. Getting to a high level with many titles from tier mastery
  2. Endlessly adding to your mafia family and getting them the best gear
  3. Earning Mafia Wars income in excess of your criminal expenses
  4. Gathering collections and achievements for bragging rights

If you agree about those four Mafia Wars goals, then we do know how to describe a winner.

What’s a Mafia Wars Winner Look Like?

  • Available job tiers mastered
  • Leveled way up and never running out of energy
  • You have so many mafia crew that arming them is almost a pain
  • You have so much income that it’s difficult to spend it all
  • You’ve vaulted many Mafia Wars collections and attained many achievements

Don’t run screaming at the sight of that list.  Who disagrees with that picture of a Mafia Wars winner?  What’s the secret to becoming a Mafia Wars winner?  I don’t want to say practical stuff for our fantasy game, but how to win Mafia Wars about two steps:

  • Create tiny goals
  • Learn all you can

Making strides in the right direction

Here’s an example of solid Mafia Wars strategy for a noob.

  • Focus on mastering Street Thug tier 3 times
  • Try to add mafia family to equal your Mafia Wars level
  • Start saving up your Mafia Wars money to buy a set of vacant lots
  • Review the achievments and select one to work for

Tiny goals like those are possible for anyone.  If you begin striving in this direction, you’ll end up in the winner spot very soon.

Getting the Inside Advantage with Mafia Wars Information

Mafia Wars can be complex.  There are many details that make getting to a Mafia Wars win an effort.  It’s that human factor of six million active players that gives Mafia Wars an element of the unexpected.  And no one has every tip or trick out there!  Investing time into the pursuit of Mafia Wars advice is going to get you results.  Finding those diamonds of strategy and insight will make you a better player than 99% of Mafia Wars active users.  You can bone up on Mafia Wars how to advice here.

The bummer is that you chose a Mafia Wars character classification before you knew much about Mafia Wars strategy or Mafia Wars leveling.  Unfortunately, you can’t switch your Mafia Wars character pick anymore.  There once was a way to change Mafia Wars character type by paying Godfather points, but that opportunity has been eliminated.

Rumors abound that Mafia Wars programmers at Zynga will bring back that character changing option, but for now we are saddled with that initial choice.  Although I’m surprised Zynga doesn’t reintroduce the character change option, because they could rake in tons of Godfather points.  I know several of Mafia Wars gamers who would be glad to pay Godfather points to have a new character.  It’s not like Zynga to leave money on the table.

As things stand currently, you are what you are as far as Mafia Wars character type.  These are the three character options in Mafia Wars:

Mogul
Maniac
Fearless

Associated with each character is 1 primary benefit, a top mafia spot, and a bonus power.  Check out| the Mafia Wars character descriptions individually so you can grasp the leveling debate that comes after.

Mafia Wars Mogul Character
Primary benefit: Gets the 60 minute take every fifty four minutes.
Top Mafia position: Bagman
Bonus power: If you are promoted into Bagman in another’s crew, you sometimes rake in 2xs the money on jobs

Character: Mafia Wars Maniac
Primary benefit: Energy rebuilds at 1 point every three minutes, rather than 1 point every 5
Top Mafia position: Button Man
Unique power: When you occupy the Buttonman spot in another gamer’s crew, you can attack a Mafia Wars player with superior stats, crew size, and equipment and sometimes win the fight regardless.

Character: Fearless
Primary benefit: Health rebuilds faster - one point every 2 minutes rather than one every three.
Top Mafia position: Wheelman
Bonus Power: When a fearless occupies the Wheelman spot in another player’s crew, a Fearless can complete a certain percentage of jobs without expending.

Most Mafia Wars strategists agree that the Mogul character doesn’t assist a player to level up more quickly in job-based leveling.  A Mogul has perks in Mafia Wars income because of the extra 2.4 hours of income they get every twenty four hours.  And that’s nothing to dismiss during about the first 25 Mafia Wars levels when earnings are low.  However, players usually have their Mafia Wars money problems ironed out early on, so earning a regular day’s income isn’t a challenge for most.  That makes the Mogul character’s major benefit a bit useless before you get to far up the leveling ladder.

Even with Mogul eliminated, there is lots of disagreement about whether Fearless or Maniac is the better character for Mafia Wars strategy in speed leveling.  Here’s how the debate goes:

The Pro Maniac Side

Since energy is what earns that experience to get you leveled up, Maniac is the best Mafia Wars character for leveling.  Energy is the name of the game in Mafia Wars.  And although the Maniac’s intermittent power doesn’t help you much once you achieve a certain level and only attack when you know you can win the fight anyway, the energy recovery of the Maniac is always helping you level faster.  So Maniac is the quickest leveling character to choose.

Arguments in Favor of Fearless

The superior Mafia Wars leveling character is Fearless.  While speedy health recovery is deemed a worthless quality by many, the intermittent power of doing some jobs at no energy cost is so beneficial that speedy leveling is a lock for Fearless.  The leveling strategy only works if someone puts you into their top mafia Wheelman spot, which can be a hard sell since your character may be inexperienced.  As a Wheelman, you will complete 6-11% of your jobs completed with paying any energy points.  Leveling up while in Wheelman will go much faster.  That Fearless power means even more as you climb the tiers and jobs cost more and more energy.  Fearless’ health regeneration actually is somewhat more valuable as you level up, because when you get to Cuba your health will take a dive! That makes Fearless’ health benefit a bigger asset after level 35.

So, what’s the conclusion - is Fearless or Maniac the best leveling character in Mafia Wars?  Each character has merit, but I believe Fearless is the choice that gets you to the top fastest when you strategize it right.  Either character will get you to the top spot, but what the arguments highlight is one main Mafia Wars strategy point.  The most critical element of Mafia Wars when you want to level up with speed is energy managment.  Whether you regain your energy more rapidly or don’t have to spend energy on certain jobs, you can see that leveling is about Mafia Wars energy.

The bad news is that you are saddled with the Mafia Wars character you picked on that first day.  The positive news is that you can always improve your Mafia Wars strategy, no matter what character type, by using better strategy for energy.  Another avenue is to open another Facebook profile you use just for a Mafia Wars speed level up character.  You can still use your current Mafia Wars character to promote your new character into top spots, run preparation jobs, and gift items to your new character, too!  Just don’t get so many characters going that you can’t keep track (yeah, don’t get me started on that story!

What makes Mafia Wars fun is the criminal prestige that our normal lives are completely lacking.  What self-respecting mobster doesn’t have Mafia Wars bodyguards?  Absolutely, they are strong defense, but you can find better than DEF 25.  What’s the lure of bodyguards?

Mob accessory appeal aside, if you are getting smoked on the fightlist a bodyguard can change that for you in a snap.  Beginners getting targeted by higher level players is de rigour for the game, so it’s no surprise that acquiring defense like Mafia Wars bodyguards is at the top of a new player’s list of must have’s.

Searching for where to find Mafia Wars bodyguards?  You will find bodyguards in the loot from the Protect Your City from a Rival Family job in the Hitman tier.  It’s actually beyond cool how early you can get yourself set up with bodyguards – as soon as level 18.  (When you seek even better defense than bodyguards, you can go after the Guerilla Squad in Cuba – El Padrino Storm the Presidential Palace loot.)

The job that earns you Mafia Wars bodyguards is actually pretty experience/energy efficient, as well.  Expend 31 energy and get out 58 experience.  That’s a 1.87 ratio, which I like strategy-wise for leveling up more rapidly.  It’s a smart energy investment and gets you the bodyguards, arguably the top defensive equipment available to lower level players from job loot.  When your attacker is generally equal to you, bodyguards will enable you to win the fight.  Get bodyguards for each member of your mafia family!

Bodyguards may not be sufficient to solve your fightlist problem, though.  If your attacker has you outmanned, outgunned, and outclassed, bodyguards won’t end your losses – although they will improve your percentage of wins!  What’s a Mafia Wars whipping boy to do?

You need to review your fighting strategy for Mafia Wars.

Is your personal defense stat a sad zero?
Are you waiting to add mafia members ‘when you have the chance’?
Have you neglected mafia equipment?

If those questions make you wince, you’re going to have to change the way you manage your crew to turn around fight results.  When you’ve attracted a Mafia Wars bully, you won’t be able to always put all your skill points to energy; you’ll need to deposit some into defense.  Attackers also target players with a teeny mafia because they are a sure bet to beat.  Don’t neglect your crew size.  Don’t forget that every member of your crew needs all three pieces of Mafia Wars equipment – weapon, armor, and vehicle.  If you only need to discourage your tormentor, you can focus on finding the best defense equipment – like bodyguards!

Mafia Wars bodyguards and fight strategy can have you breaking out of losing cycle – good luck!
