R4 DS Cards - 5 Ways To Make It Work Perfectly

If you don’t know what an R4 DS is, this quick run down will explain what it is. Want more details on the R4 DS Card? I would urge you to read all of my articles on the R4 DS card to get better aquinted with them.In my last articles and reviews I described in detail exactly what the R4 DS is and what it can do as well as how it works. I won’t re-write all of those deatils and features here once again for the sake of saving readers who’ve read my previous article.{com for a detailed feature and function list}~com for a detailed feature and functions list~{{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}~{com for detailed lists of features and functions}~com for a list of features~com for a list of all of the things you can do with it, all of the features and functions~{com for a detailed run down of all features and functions}~com for an in depth list of all of the functions and features~com for a full list of features and functions~{com for a good look at all of the functions and features}~{{com for a full list of all of the functions and features}~{com for a features and functions list}~{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a full list of all of the functions and features~{com for a full list of all of the functions and features}~{com for a features and functions list}~{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~com for a list of all of the features and functions}. If you’re not clear on all of the features and functions of the R4 DS, then I suggest you do a searc on google or go to www.ps2cover.com.

In brief, the R4 DS is a slot 1 device that allows you to play homebrew games and applications, listen to Mp3 music, read e-books, watch movies, etc… on your Nintendo DS / DS lite or Nintendo DSi system. For less than dollars, your Nintendo DS turns into a whole entertainment unit.00

There are some quick and easy tips to follow. Some of the things I recommend may seem like no brainers, it did actually take me a week or so of using the R4 DS Card daily to figure out how to make my life a whole lot easier.

1. Store your game files in a directory on your microSD Card. To help you organize your files, I recommend putting all of your files into directories that you set up for these specific files. GAMES should be store in your GAMES folder. It makes navigating the menu much easier, and all of your save game files will also be origanized by default.

2. Store your MP3 Music files and video files in seperate folders too, and in the case of multiple music albums on the memory card, you should make a sub-directory of each album. This is something that is a must for anyone that has a lot of music where all of the songs are labeled TRACK 1, Track 2, etc..mp3, TRACK 2.MP3, and others, etc….. By putting your files in seperate and different directories, you’ll at least have them organized because you can put all of your MP3 albums in individual directories so you’ll at least know that TRACK-1.mp3 in the ABBA directory is from the ABBA greatest hits album.

3. Try to backup your game saves to your PC hard drive on a regular basis. Saving your games isn’t something to do because you worry about losing your game saves due to a bad microSD card. It is a guarantee agaist that, but it also means you can always go back to an earlier game save. Moving files on and off the microSD Card is easy. Making sure you keep a backup of your game saves is not. For this reason, I always recommend that you keep a backup of your microSD card files on you desktop in a folder. or a folder somewhere else on you PC. While this one really seems like an obvious hint, you would be surprised to know that most of our technical support emails for the R4 DS deal with how to get back erased or deleted game saves that were not backed up. I suggest you do this at least one or two times at most and even more often if you play your games more.

4. Don’t take out the R4 DS from the Nintendo DS console each time you want to add files to the microSD Card. Just push the microSD card and it will pop of out the slot in the r4 ds card. Use the included microSD card reader / writer to change your games, music and movie files or add more to your collection on your microSD card.

5. This final and last tip may be obvious. And it works with the microSD card in your R4 DS Card. When you put the NDS, Nintendo DS lite or Nintendo DSi in your pocket or pick it up. Check to make sure that the microSD card is in the R4 DS card. Make sure that your MicroSD card in the R4 DS Card is snug an secure to avoid any issues with it popping out or getting lost. While there are failsafes to protect you against the microSD from popping out the microSD card accidentally, it could happen. There would be nothing that could be more of a problem that not knowing where your microSD Card is. As you may know, microSD cards are very small, and if you lost one, you’ll have a really tough time finding it, unless you want to get a new one. If your NDS is in a case you can protect yourself from losing your R4 DS Card. Make this something you do before you even power on.

The R4 DS is a cartridge that emulates and behaves exactly like an original Nintendo DS cartridge, but with many more features and functions. It lets you watch movies on your NDS, DS Lite and DSi as well as play MP3 Music. In essence, it turns your Nintendo DS into a full fledge hand held multi media console, allowing you to play games, listen to music, watch movies, read e-books and much more.
