Gaming is becoming one of the biggest hobbies in the world and is going to outsell both music and the film industry in the new future which is of course why so many developers now look into having some real gripping music to help tell the stories of their games. Here are some of the best ones.
Halo 2
The last track of the game does it for me on this one and it works so well as well as the others in all three games, it adds to the storyline. Although getting incredibly annoyed at the fact that I had to wait at least another two years for the final game the awesome song at the end helped slightly!
Super Mario Bros
This is the original and by far one of the best theme tunes in gaming history; it works amazingly well with the game itself and helped propel Mario to the front of the gaming world. Every world in Mario has always had a different tune too it and Mario Galaxy is no different.
Super Smash Bros Brawl
This is on the list simply because it puts all of Nintendo’s best musical scores onto one game. Every stage has so many different tracks for it that it is unbelievable. This is a game for the Nintendo fans that not only want a big of fighting but want to remember the old music from some of the older Nintendo games. Dr Mario has to be the best one.
The truth is that all of these pieces are made in a very similar way to the way that a film piece is made so all kinds of instruments from the traditional drum kits and guitars to bass guitars all are now needed to create a piece of music that is suitable for a game. It takes just as much skill to create a piece for a game as it does for a movie.
