Looking for a way to win a fortune has always been something that people have sought for ages now; often times not in the most desirable of ways. Thinking about seeking fortunes will quickly bring to mind the thousands of people who headed for the mountains of California, Canada, and Alaska during the last Gold Rush. Seeking enough gold for mountains of pirate treasure chests, these brave souls took to the hills sometimes giving up their lives. A few of these amazing adventurers came out of those hills with a small fortune. It is a testament to the many that didn’t.

In today’s world, there also people looking for their “own” gold rush. Some of the most visited places on Earth are those cities with the glitzy, luxurious casinos. Place like Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Peppermill Reno are invaded by people with the same kind of “gold fever” seen by those people over a hundred years ago. Mounting financial pressures and economical collapse are pushing people further and further into taking risks in the hopes of finding that one big pay day. These casinos and resorts are able to offer a multitude of gaming experiences and chances for anyone who is willing to take the risk.

It isn’t only in the world of casinos either. Most states have been offering people the chance to win big for several decades now with state sponsored lotteries. These lotteries can take many different forms and varieties. One of which is in the form of a Powerball. A Powerball game is basically a game where you choose some numbers and “play” those numbers in the upcoming drawing. Most states do this drawing once a week, while some will do it twice. These jackpots can be huge at times, some bordering on tens of millions of dollars. In fact, a recent Pennsylvania Powerball was in the hundreds of millions of dollars. When opportunities like this arise, people will line up for miles for their chance at the jackpot.

Whether people are lining up to win a state Powerball game, or flying into a casino town like Las Vegas, or heading into the mountains for the hidden gold, the excitement is electrifying. You feel alive and are caught up in the atmosphere. Some newscasters when they are reporting on these scenes say the air is electric and they; themselves want to join in and risk some money on the chance to win millions.

Imagine being able to burn DVD movies and Playstation games onto just a CD, with no need for a DVD burner. Sounds too good to be true? Sounds like something really expensive?

Nope. It’s real, and it’s easy affordable, even during the hard economic times.

The product that helps you do this is one that’s become quite popular in its category: DVD x Gold. You may have heard of it; it’s known as the standard for burning DVDs without a CD burner. But is it for you?

Well, if you don’t have a DVD burner and want to burn DVDS, VHS cassettes, and Playstation games onto discs, then the answer is most likely ‘yes’. Not only is DVD x Gold a trustworthy product, but it’s also an incredibly user-friendly tool that anyone can use for his or her disc backup. You don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars like some software products.  Instead, you just pay based on how long you want to use it: one year, two years, or lifetime.

I like the fact that they let you choose the price based on your usage, rather than paying loads for a product you may only need to use occasionally.

So really, whether you just want to backup your VHS cassettes, DVDs, or Playstation games, you can do it.  And on an easy, Pay-As-You-Go basis.

Try It, Or Buy It?

No doubt about it: if you’re someone who doesn’t have a DVD burner, and wants to burn DVDs onto CDs without buying an expensive DVD burner, then you need DVDx Gold. If you’re not sure if it’s for you, think about it: $20 for a year’s usage. Is that really so bad?

I don’t think so, and I think you’ll agree once you’ve burnt all your favorite DVDs, VHS cassettes, and Playstation games, using nothing more than a CD burner.
